I recently flew with one of the AirChina’s Dreamliners. It was my first time in this specific aircraft so here is some of my thoughts about it.
I have read a lot of bad reviews about AirChina lately mostly regarding their service, so I took a second thought and thought about should I take this flight or not, but ultimately I decided to go with them on my returning trip to home. I took flight CA435 Chongqing – Budapest.
Start of the flight
Turbulence
Flight started with some moderate turbulence and honestly this being my first time in boeing after 30+ flights that I took in my life, I was bit scared because of what I read about it on the internet. Let me tell you, even tho it was very turbulent aircraft performed extremely well and now I can understand why is it one of the safest aircrafts in the world.
Since this was late night flight starting at 2:35am (Chonqging timezone) we were served dinner shortly after the take off. You could choose between chicken and rice or fish and rice. I went with the Chicken option and it was amazing, I don’t understand why is there such a hate towards AirChina service.

If you took 2 or 3 flights in your life, you most likely stumbled upon people talking how bad Air China is, I took 2 flights with them yesterday and I was very surprised how good service was. Gate agents were speaking fluent English and also service inside of the airplane had fluent English as well.
Breakfast
Flight was 11 hours long and we were served 2 meals, as I said we were served dinner but we were also served a breakfast which started 2 hours before arriving to Budapest. Breakfast was tasty I am not sure what I ate but it was some traditional Chinese meal(I liked it) but you could also choose Eggs. Overall pretty delicious. I extremely liked yogurt that they offered!
